UPDATE: Due to scheduling issues, there will only be three weeks of Science in the Parks this year. However, we are planning on participating in some great activities throughout the summer, so there will be plenty of science to keep everyone busy this summer!
Science in the Parks will be visiting a park near you this year! Each week this summer Science in the Parks will visit four different parks and bring activities for See it, Hear It, Build It, Move It and Feel It days. All activities are free and open to anyone that wants to participate. More information can be found at scienceintheparks.org, or email amandagentry@weber.edu. Locations will correspond with the Ogden School District lunch schedule and will be announced asap. Below is the UPDATED summer schedule for each week:
June 12 – 16 – Lorin Farr Park
June 19 – 23 – Monroe Park
June 26 – 30 – West Ogden Park
We are always looking for volunteers! If you are going to come check it out, consider volunteering. You get behind the scenes look at what makes all the science magical. People of all ages and skill levels are welcome to volunteer! If you (or someone you know) are interested in volunteering, then sign up here!
